I spent two years inside Google before agency life and ten years after that running advertising and analytics for brands across Europe. I learned the difference between data that looks important and data a marketing director can act on by Tuesday. Most of what I do is close that gap.
Today I run New North Digital — a small Dutch consultancy — from Barcelona, where the cortados are better and the time zone still works for clients in Amsterdam. I build internal tools too: a GA4 audit platform, a GTM container composer, a debugging MCP. The pattern is always the same — automate the boring half, free up the thinking half.
